Company History
1984
Medical Indicators, Inc. was founded and incorporated in the state of New Jersey at its original location in Pennington, NJ. The founder, Dr. Robert Witonsky, developed the company’s NexTemp® technology.
1990’s
Medical Indicators expanded to increase both the number of products offered, as well as the company’s reach selling into the US, Canada, and Mexico.
2000’s
MII continues to advance with the development of additional offerings within the NexTemp® Family of Thermometers as well as expanded into additional countries, including South Africa.
2010’s
Continuing with the company’s global expansion, MII acquired another innovative disposable thermometer brand, Tempa-Dot®. This enabled on going global expansion with the opening of the UK office and entry across Europe.
2020’s
MII’s sets out to equip the world with over 1 Billion thermometers this decade.

Launch of NexTemp Go®, the next generation of thermometers.
